Gargazzone is an ideal starting point for excursions to Merano and Bolzano, to the newly-opened Botanical Gardens of Castle Trauttmansdorff , to Castle Juval, the residence of the well known moutaineer Reinhold Messner or to the famous  glacial mummy Iceman Ötzi.
